WSB’s Global Expansion Is Creating a New World of Opportunity
World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) is entering one of the most exciting periods in its history, with new partnerships and expansion opportunities developing across Oman, Peru, Bolivia, Canada, India, Nepal, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong and South Africa.
This growing international network represents more than the addition of new competitions to the WSB calendar. It marks the creation of a connected global ecosystem where dancers, studios, choreographers, creators, cultural organisations and commercial partners can build relationships, exchange ideas and access new opportunities.
With the WSB World Championship taking place in Hong Kong from April 15–18, 2027, the road ahead is becoming bigger than a single event. It is the beginning of a new international movement.
Building Pathways From Local Communities to the World Stage
WSB’s expansion will create pathways for emerging dancers and crews to begin within their own communities and progress towards regional, national and international opportunities.
Through qualifiers, workshops, cultural exchanges, creator programs and the WSB World Championship, participants can gain more than competition experience. They can represent their cities and countries, meet industry leaders, build international friendships and introduce their talent to new audiences.
The vision is to create a pathway that connects every level of the community:
- Young dancers discovering their potential
- Crews seeking national and international recognition
- Choreographers developing the next generation
- Studios building relationships in new territories
- Creators learning how to produce and share compelling content
- Event organisers collaborating across borders
- Brands connecting with youth, culture and entertainment
WSB believes that competitions should not be defined only by trophies and medals. The real value is found in the relationships, experiences and opportunities created along the journey.
Connecting the Global Dance Community
Dance is one of the world’s most powerful universal languages. It can connect people regardless of nationality, background or spoken language.
As WSB expands, dancers from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, North America and South America will have more opportunities to meet, collaborate and learn from one another. A young dancer from Oman could share the stage with a crew from Canada. A choreographer from South Africa could connect with a studio owner from China. A creator from Peru could collaborate with an artist from Malaysia, Nepal or India.
These connections can lead to workshops, creative projects, cultural exchanges, touring opportunities, educational programs and lifelong friendships.
This is the WSB Way: compete with passion, represent your community with pride, respect every culture and use the experience to grow beyond the competition floor.
Hong Kong Becomes the Global Meeting Point
The WSB World Championship in Hong Kong will bring the international community together from April 15–18, 2027.
The four-day event is being developed as more than a world dance competition. It will become a meeting point for youth culture, street dance, media, education, creativity, tourism and international collaboration.
Dance crews and soloists will have the opportunity to represent their cities and countries on a global stage. Studio owners, educators and choreographers can build new relationships. Brands and organisations can engage directly with a highly active international youth audience.
At the centre of this expanded vision will be WSB Media Day and the Next Gen Creator Conference.
WSB Media Day: Share, Connect and Communicate
WSB Media Day will give participants, studios, partners and creators a dedicated platform to tell their stories and introduce their work to an international audience.
It will be a space where dancers become more than performers. They can learn how to present themselves, communicate their message, create content and develop a stronger personal or professional identity.
Participating crews and studios can produce interviews, promotional content and collaborative media while connecting with creators, photographers, filmmakers, educators and brand representatives.
For international delegations, Media Day will also provide an opportunity to promote their country, culture, organisation and local dance community.
The Next Gen Creator Conference
The Next Gen Creator Conference will explore how creativity can lead to education, employment, entrepreneurship and new career pathways.
The platform will welcome dancers and non-dancers alike. Young people interested in content creation, music, fashion, photography, filmmaking, communications, technology, events and digital media will be encouraged to participate.
The conference will help the next generation understand how to:
- Build a personal or creative brand
- Communicate confidently across cultures
- Create original and responsible digital content
- Turn creative skills into career opportunities
- Develop partnerships and professional networks
- Use dance, music and culture to tell meaningful stories
- Collaborate with creators from different countries
- Navigate the changing global creator economy
The goal is to help young people move from being content consumers to becoming confident creators, storytellers and future creative leaders.
A Possible New Era for World Battle Sport
Following the 2027 WSB World Championship, WSB is also exploring the future development of World Battle Sport—a potential global league built around team-based freestyle dance battles.
The concept is designed to introduce a more strategic and sports-driven battle format featuring teams, coaching decisions, substitutions, timeouts, tactics and international rivalries.
If developed globally, World Battle Sport could open another pathway for elite freestyle dancers, teams, coaches, event operators, media partners, sponsors and investors. It could also create opportunities for city and national teams, international tournaments, digital broadcasts, athlete profiles and future league franchises.
The WSB World Championship will remain the global meeting place for crews and dance communities, while World Battle Sport could become a new competitive pathway for battle athletes and teams.
How You Can Become Part of the Movement
There are several ways to participate in WSB’s global expansion and the 2027 World Championship.

The Next Generation Is Coming
Across every territory, a new generation of talent is emerging. They are dancers, athletes, creators, leaders and entrepreneurs who want to be seen, heard and connected to the world.
WSB’s role is to help build the bridges that connect them.
From Oman to Peru, Bolivia to Canada, India to Nepal, China to Malaysia, Hong Kong to South Africa—and eventually to many more countries—the movement is growing through partnership, trust and a shared belief in the power of young people.
The journey to Hong Kong in 2027 is only the beginning.

Sydney, Australia – 14 May 2025 — In a global first for the street dance world, World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) is proud to launch WSB Collectibles — digital street dance collectibles that fuse culture, technology, and purpose. Created in partnership with Sigma Music, these unique assets are set to revolutionize how fans support dancers on the world stage.
Launching ahead of the WSB Dubai World Finals (July 10–13, 2025), the collectibles will feature every national team competing in the historic global showdown. More than digital keepsakes, each collectible doubles as a fundraising tool to directly support participating dancers on their journey to Dubai.
The WSB Collectibles project was the brainchild of WSB Founder Marco Andre Selorio and Maurice June, founder of Australia’s Got Talent winners Justice Crew. The duo previously co-founded the billion-dollar Web3 gaming guild Crypto Gaming United (CGU) in 2021. Now they are bringing that same innovation and global impact to the dance industry — empowering artists through blockchain-based collectibles.
💥 FIRST DROP: LOONYO – May 16
The first WSB Collectible release will spotlight Loonyo, the beloved founder/choreographer of ROCK*WELL PH and Team Captain of the WSB Philippine National Team. His collectible launches Friday, May 16, with just 200 limited edition pieces available for only $10 USD each.
Early collectors are in for more than just bragging rights — every owner of Loonyo’s WSB Collectible will be eligible to win between $50–$100 USD every weekend through special draws, exclusive to holders. That means supporters can get their money back — and potentially earn more, simply by owning a piece of digital dance history.
This reward system is part of the utility built into each WSB Collectibles. Loonyo’s drop is the first to unveil its perks — with more to come for every country’s team and featured dancer.

WSB Appoints MOOKIE Washington as New Country Director for WSB USA
LOS ANGELES, CA – May 7, 2025 – World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB), one of the globe’s premier international street dance platforms, proudly announces the appointment of MOOKIE as the new Country Director for WSB USA.
In his new leadership role, Washington will spearhead the growth of WSB across North America, with key responsibilities including onboarding elite and emerging American dance crews to represent the United States at the WSB Dubai World Finals 2025, forming the WSB American National Team, and fostering a thriving network of dancers, educators, and industry professionals.
A respected figure in the U.S. dance community, Mookie brings decades of experience in street dance culture, event organizing, and mentoring young talent. His deep connection with WSB Founder Marco Selorio —with whom he has personally known in previous dance events—positions him as a trusted and visionary leader.
“Mookie is a culture builder, mentor, and movement maker. His appointment is a game-changer for the American street dance scene,” says Selorio. “We’re excited to work together to open doors for dancers across the country.”
Under Mookie’s guidance, WSB USA will also roll out V-Collectibles, an innovative Web3 initiative providing dancers with digital ownership, collectible experiences, and new monetization streams. This aligns with WSB’s mission to redefine dance as a sustainable global career, while integrating technology, education, and cultural exchange.
“I’m honoured to take on this role and build something powerful for our dancers,” says Mookie. “WSB is an excellent launchpad for purpose, unity, and international recognition.”
As preparations build toward WSB Dubai in July, Mookie’s immediate focus includes crew recruitment, national team trials, and community education around the WSB V-Collectibles ecosystem.
