A New Era of Global Street Dance Competition Begins January–December 2026

World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB), the world’s longest-running street dance championship platform, today announced the launch of its first-ever Global Leaderboard System, rolling out across more than 30 countries in 2026. The new system introduces a sport-style points structure that rewards consistency, competitiveness, and global participation throughout the entire year.

Beginning January 2026, every WSB-sanctioned event will earn crews points that contribute to their official world ranking, culminating in a year-end declaration of the #1 Ranked Crew in the World. The top-ranked crew will receive special prize incentives, travel support, international exposure, and elite status within the WSB ecosystem.

WSB Founder & CEO Marco Andre Selorio described the new system as a “historic milestone” for global street dance culture.

“WSB is now evolving into a true international league where every battle counts, every event matters, and every crew can rise from their hometown to the top of the world rankings. This leaderboard revolutionises street dance by bringing structure, consistency, and prestige across the entire year,” Selorio said.

🌏 THE WSB 2026 GLOBAL LEADERBOARD SYSTEM

The ranking framework mirrors top professional sports leagues and global martial arts circuits, creating a competitive pathway from neighbourhood qualifiers to world-class finals.

TIER 1 — LOCAL EVENTS (100 Points Maximum)

Community-level events hosted by schools, studios, cities, and independent organisers. This applies to all MYB Battles.

TIER 2 — REGIONAL OR MAJOR CITY EVENTS (250 Points Maximum)

Large qualifiers held within major metropolitan areas.
Examples: WSB Manila 250, WSB Auckland 250, WSB Davao 250, WSB Melbourne 250

TIER 3 — NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (1000 Points Maximum)

Each country crowns its national champion using the enhanced leaderboard scoring system.
Examples: WSB Philippines 1000, WSB Australia 1000, WSB New Zealand 1000

TIER 4 — WORLD FINALS (5000 Points Maximum)

The global pinnacle of street dance competition.
Held in major international cities such as Dubai, the WSB World Finals will carry the highest point value.

🆕 BONUS POINTS: CREW-VS-CREW SHOWDOWN BATTLES

In 2026, WSB events will introduce a new competition segment: Crew-vs-Crew Battles.

In addition to their division performance, crews may enter an optional 1-round or 2-round head-to-head showdown against another crew. These matches award additional ranking points on top of the main competition scores.

Crew-vs-Crew Bonus Points (All Tiers)

Winner: +25 bonus points
Runner-Up: +10 points
Participation: +5 points

These points apply at any tiered event (Local, Regional, National, World), allowing ambitious crews to rapidly climb the leaderboard.
