For the first time in its storied history, WSB is making Dubai its new global home, solidifying the city’s reputation as a premier hub for entertainment, arts, and cultural exchange. With six major competition divisions—Open, Monster, Schools, Teens, Junior, and Cell—dancers of all ages and backgrounds will have the opportunity to prove their skills on an international stage.

WSB PHILIPPINES NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP CROWNS NEW DANCE CHAMPIONS IN A SPECTACULAR SHOW OF TALENT

PASIG CITY, PHILIPPINES – February 10, 2025 – The highly anticipated WSB Philippines National Championship took center stage on February 8-9 at Tanghalang Pasigueño, bringing together over 1,000 dancers, artists, and 120 electrifying acts in a weekend-long spectacle of movement, music, and passion. Proudly sponsored by Royal Tru-Orange, the event showcased the best of Philippine dance culture, with six teams rising to claim their spots as WSB PH National Champions across six major divisions:

Monster Division: RockwellPH
Open Division: RockwellPH
Teens Division: Extreme Phenomena
Junior Division: GBOYZ Juniors
Cell Division: Obs Destroyer
Schools Division: TUP-V Balei Dance Troupe

The high-energy championship was hosted by the dynamic duo of MCs Jess Baria and WSB Founder Marco Andre Selorio, who kept the crowd engaged throughout the weekend. The entertainment lineup featured exhilarating performances from DJ Zeno, R&B group ATM, and Sony’s rising music stars Zae and Alex Bruce.

Adding to the excitement, the event introduced engaging activities such as the WSB Cypher Battle, WSB Dance Here Zone, The Royal Hataw Na TikTok Dance Challenge, the WSB “A To Z” Special Solo Division, and the launch of the official WSB Philippines Spotify Playlist.

The TOP 3 crews from each division have now earned their place in history as part of the WSB Philippine National Team and will advance to the prestigious WSB Dubai World Finals in July 2025, where they will represent the country against the world’s best dancers.

Some of the country’s top choreographers and dancers also took part, including DJ Loonyo, Mannex Manhattan, Aira Casim, Kennedy Cortez, Peter Collado, and Klockwise. The esteemed judging panel was led by head judge Tank Bautista, alongside world champions Paul Pavlos, Sebastian Mangrobang, Josh Mercado, Dize Akira, BBoy Sanford, and DHK Dune Narrazimha.
