Brace yourselves as World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB), one of the world’s most electrifying street dance competitions, makes its debut in Hong Kong on Sunday, November 3, at the vibrant Y Theatre, Youth Square. This ground-breaking event will harness the talent and fierce energy of Hong Kong and Macau’s top dance crews in a celebration of hip-hop culture, community, and youth.
WSB Hong Kong will bring the heat with a choreography showcase competition, freestyle exhibition battles, thrilling performances from hip-hop dance crews, and exclusive WSB Street apparel activations that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Produced by MAS Presents in cooperation with Studio5678hk and The Miss Powers Catwalk Method, dance enthusiasts can also look forward to immersive workshops, featuring international choreographers from Japan, Hong Kong and the Philippines who will elevate the participants’ dance skills and knowledge. The weekend event is packed with value for both spectators and competitors, offering a holistic experience of the street dance culture.
The show will be judged by an elite panel of international judges, including America’s Got Talent Finalist Mana Miyashita from Chibi Unity (Japan), popular world champion and social media creator Loonyo (Philippines), and local Hong Kong choreographers Gabrielle Lau and Franco Chu, ensuring that each battle and crew showdown is critiqued at the highest standard. Rounding out the event, live music showcases from local hip hop talents will provide the perfect soundtrack for a day of urban artistry.
