Official Search Begins for Canada’s National Street Dance Team to Compete in Dubai

Toronto, Canada – The world’s premier street dance championship, World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB), is making its official debut in Canada this March 2025, opening the doors for the nation’s best dancers to compete on a global stage.

WSB Canada will host its inaugural nationwide search for the country’s most elite and promising street dancers to form Canada’s WSB National Street Dance Team. The selected team will proudly represent Canada at the WSB World Finals in Dubai, UAE, from July 10-13, 2025.

A Game-Changer for Canadian Street Dance

With a rich history of showcasing top-tier talent across the globe, WSB’s arrival in Canada is set to revolutionize the dance industry and elevate Canadian street dancers to new heights.

Mike “MGL” Lamfel, WSB Canada’s Country Director, expressed his excitement for the opportunities this expansion will create:

“WSB is a movement that will redefine street dance in Canada. This platform will bring dancers together under one roof, fostering a stronger, more connected dance culture. By participating, dancers will engage with global talent, and gain access to new markets, sponsorships, and collaborations. Exposure in Dubai could lead to career-changing moments.”
